MORE additions!

I’m adding more things as I find them or get comfortable with them…and as you see, now there are little buttons under each strip and blog entry.  Why?

So you can DIGG, Reddit, Yahoo Buzz or whatever with them!  You can also quickly link them to your Facebook or just use Twitter to tweet them to your friends.  Which you should do.  Right now.  Do it so much that they say “Hey, I read the site already, you can stop!”  It would also be nice to get some comments in English, just so I know someone other than what seems like the entire country of Russia reads what we’re doing.

Oh, and there is a super-secret project being unveiled in another blog connected to this one.  That’s right, we’ve bought on on This upcoming podcast…but keep it a secret for now!

More changes, what do you think?

Thanks to some extra work put in by Dan, we now have ads, so now we are no longer a not-for-profit!  There have been some other tweaks as we learn more about Word Press and Comics Press, so let us know what you think of the changes and please click on the ads, as Monk needs bananas and Victor needs to supplement his Social Security.

There will be Character Profiles in the next week or two, so you new readers who have just found us can jump in and get to the knwo the cast.

Lastly, we’re getting a lot of comments in Russian.  A LOT.  So, to all of our Russian fans, I say:

Добро пожаловать! Никто здесь не понимает русский.   (Welcome!  No one here understand Russian.)

Cory!!

Welcome Bartcop readers!

First off, Thanks to Bartcop who linked to the strip today!  I’ve been a been Bartcop.com fan for a long time (and have a link to his site in the blogroll), and while I may not agree with him on every issue, it’s good to see a fighting liberal with a sense of humor!

Second off, for those of you seeing the site from there, welcome!  This here internet comic strip is set at the lowest rated Cable News company, and has been making fun of cable news, political events, and pop culture for a couple of months now, and is published twice a week.  It’s drawn by Dangerous Dan Mohr, who also draws the critically acclaimed Everyday Gods webstrip. We alternate between longer story arcs and current event strips, and since we’re currently between story arcs…that’s right, these are the current event strips.

So, please feel free to bookmark the site or add it to your RSS feed, let us know what you think and if you like a strip SO MUCH you want to buy the original art, contact Dan and let him know!

First story arc is done!!

First off, thanks for reading!  I’ve had this strip idea bouncing around in my head for a LONG time, and as with any idea, the real work is sitting down and doing the hard work to bring it to life.  Please continue to send me your feedback, spread the word and comment like mad gophers!

Now that the first story arc is done, I’ll write a little bit about how the stories for the strip will be structured.

There will be story arcs that run for a series of strips, like this one that introduced the set-up and characters, and inbetween these story arcs will be “one shot” strips that have gags based on current events, silly little ideas that aren’t big enough for a full story or something that either Dan or I found funny.

I’m also going to be adding character descriptions, ads and other things to make the strip more fun for you, the reader, as well as profitable for me so I can afford to buy the high end scotch I need to fuel the writing, so changes are still coming!
